Many single women feel trepidation in travelling alone. I have been travelling to Bali since 1986, primarily solo. My initial encounters with Bali were with a friend who had travelled there before & introduced me to this wonderful island. As you become more familiar with a place it begins to feel comfortable and therefore less intimidating. That is half the battle won right there. If you feel safe and comfortable in this place, then it makes sense to go there often. So I do.

I decided to 'blogify' some of my posts from over the years from Bali Travel Forum. So if you are a regular reader of that forum, many of my blogs will feel familiar. I will be adding new material as time permits, so check back often.
